F1010 - Advanced Bordered Silicone Foam Dressing 

Product characteristics:

 - Soft, comfortable & high absorbent foam pad, lock the wound exudate, reduce skin maceration risk, provide cushion and redistribute pressure.

- Gentle silicone contact layer minisezes trauma and pain during dressing change but allow the dressing to be repositioned, which is special design for sensitive, fragile & old skin.

- Breathable, waterproof film to maintain a optimal moist wound environment for faster healing, especial for chronic wound management.

- Relieve pain and suffering, enable to move easily, add comfort and enhanced healing. Not made with natural rubber latex.

- Provide for bed sore, pressure ulcer, leg ulcer, foot diabetic ulcer, surgical wound, 1st & 2nd degree burn, traumatic wound, abrasions, skin tears.

 Silicone foam dressing is an absorbent, atraumatic dressing made from absorbent core and silicone gel. The wound contact surface of Silicone foam dressing is coated with a layer of soft silicone gel that does not stick to the surface of a wound or cause trauma to delicate new tissue upon removal. This soft silicone layer is also slightly tacky, which facilitates application and retention of the dressing to intact skin, but does not cause epidermal stripping or pain on removal. The outer surface of the product is bonded to a vapor-permeable polyurethane membrane, which acts as a barrier to liquid and microorganisms.

 Silicone foam dressing include two types: silicone foam dressing with border and silicone foam dressing without border. The absorbent core of silicone foam dressing without border is polyurethane foam and that of silicone foam dressing with border consists of three components, a thin sheet of polyurethane foam ,a piece of nonwoven fabric and a layer of superabsorbent fibres. The core can lock exudate into the product, preventing the wound bed from drying out and the surrounding skin from becoming macerated.

   Method of use:
1. Make sure the wound area is clean and dry before using dressing.
2. A dressing should be selected that overlaps the wound margin by at least two centimeters.
3. Remove the release film before use and adhesive the dressing on the wound area.
4. If required, silicone foam dressing without border may be cut to size or shape before removal of the protective film. Once in position the dressing may be held in place with a bandage or other suitable retention aid.

   Frequency of change:

The interval between changes will normally be determined by the degree of exudate produced. The dressing may be left up to 7 days.
It is necessary to change the dressing whenever good wound care practice dictates.

1. This product is the disposable , it is forbidden to reuse, if the pack is broken, do not use.

2. Please use within valid, read the instructions carefully before using.

3. Change the dressing when the back begin to discolor or deform.

     Storage of silicone wound dressing:

No corrosive gas, a cool, well ventilated, clean room and room temperature preservation.
