 Product characteristics:

 *Fixation patch is applied in the fixation of an intravenous cannula that is inserted for a short period

 * An additional adhesive layer is applied across the plaster to firmly fix the wings of the cannula.

 *Preformed patch with both a solid and a loose wound pad for on and under the infusion

 *Latex free

    Adhesive I.V. dressing is a sterile wound dressing for securing peripheral vein cannula fixation on insertion site. The dressing is air - and moisture vapour permeable. Adhesive I.V. dressing is made of water repellent non-woven carrier material, with attached absorbent pad. The absorbent pad is layered with semi-permeable net with non-adherent properties which also hinders absorbed exudate to leak. The extra absorbent pad included into the pouch allows securing of lateral vein cannula without extra pressure on skin. Design of release-papers enables user to handle and attach the dressing on the insertion site using one hand.
